In case of abnormal heating of the motor caused by this situation, maintenance of the deceleration motor can be strengthened, and protective devices for the entire equipment can be installed. In cases where the motor needs to work in an exposed environment, it is necessary to install protective devices to prevent foreign objects from entering the interior of the motor.
During use, if the alignment between the reducer and the passive shaft exceeds the required range, it will cause excessive radial force on the output shaft of the reducer, wear the oil seal and eccentric bearing, and generate a large amount of heat.
4. Lubrication problems can cause the gearbox to heat up, with insufficient lubricating oil and a large amount of heat generated by friction. Excessive lubricating oil and stirring can result in power loss and a large amount of heat generation. It is necessary to replenish lubricating oil in a timely manner, and the most appropriate time is to change the lubricating grease after running for about 3000 to 5000 hours.
If the deceleration motor cannot operate normally or runs slowly after starting, it is necessary to check whether it is a problem with the circuit breaker or contactor. High power supply voltage may also cause the deceleration motor to heat up.
